Bunny Ears Cactus

The thick pads of this plant are full of fuzzy spines, that resemble the fur of rabbits and grow in earlike pairs.

Scientific name: Opuntia microdasys.

Also known as Angel’s Wings, this cactus thrives in full sun or partial shade. Let it fully dry between watering, you can tell it's time to water as it will bend when it's thirsty.

Avoid touching the spines as they will easily go into your skin, remove them with tweezers in case they got in.

Can tolerate a few hours (2-4) of direct sunlight.
